What Bills Can You Pay Here?

Our branches accept a wide range of bill payments over the counter — anything with a barcode. This includes:

  • Gas and electricity bills (all major suppliers)
  • Water bills
  • Council tax
  • TV Licence
  • Parking fines and penalty charge notices
  • Rent payments via certain housing associations
  • HMRC payments

If your bill has a barcode — on the paper bill or on the digital version on your phone — there's a good chance we can process it. Bring it in and we'll check.

How to Pay a Bill

Bring your bill to the counter. We'll scan the barcode, you'll confirm the amount, and the payment is processed immediately. You'll receive a printed receipt confirming payment — useful for your records, particularly for council tax and penalty notices.

Payment can be made in cash or by debit card. Credit cards are not accepted for bill payments.

Prepayment Energy Meter Top-Ups

If your gas or electricity meter is a prepayment type — operated by a key, a card, or a fob — you can top it up at our counter. Bring your meter key or payment card and the amount you'd like to add. Top-ups are processed instantly and available from as little as £5.

All major prepayment energy suppliers are supported, including British Gas, E.ON, EDF, Scottish Power, and others.

Mobile Phone Top-Ups

We offer top-ups for all major UK mobile networks, including EE, O2, Vodafone, Three, Giffgaff, Tesco Mobile, iD Mobile, and others. Let us know your network and the amount — you'll receive a confirmation code or the credit will be added directly, depending on the network.

Why Pay in Person?

For customers who prefer to pay in cash, don't have internet banking set up, or simply want a printed receipt on the spot, paying over the counter is the most straightforward option. There's no risk of a payment being misapplied or not showing up for several days — it's confirmed immediately.
